Happy New Year! 2008 in Review

We have been blessed tremendously this year by a great and wonderful God! We pray that you, our friends and family, have also been blessed and that Christ will continue to smile down on all of us and walk with us in 2009!

Christmas at Home

This (finally) concludes our trip to Michigan

We are home safe. We are so thankful for such a wonderful visit with family in Michigan. The trip was exhausting at times, but overall we had a great time.

On Saturday we headed over to Ann Arbor and Canton. We first stopped to see BJ's mentor, Pastor Flynn (the pastor that officiated at Eli's baptism) and hung with his family for a bit. It was great to catch up with them! Then we stopped at Concordia to walk around (the temperature had warmed things up quite a bit), and then headed downtown for lunch and browsed some shops. Then we were off to visit and stay the night at Phil and Lisa Bell's and our good friends Sara and John also came over. We were excited to learn that Lisa is expecting their second child in July. Eli had fun playing with their daughter Emma and their cats.

On Sunday we were up early to meet Andy and Jess in Ann Arbor for breakfast and then we headed back to Canton for church. It was a long 6 hours in the car after that to our hotel in Charleston, W. VA...
