Video from this Week

Here are some videos from this week. I tried to get Eli to show off his singing and hand motion skills in the tub...to no avail.
I guess they only perform when they want to! Plus I think he's a little camera shy like his mama. He can sing the "round and round"
part of "The Wheels on the Bus" and do the hand motions to it and a couple other parts to the song. He is also getting good at
"The Itsy Bitsy Spider." He's coming in to such a fun age where it is fun to
teach him stuff!

Picnic at the Park

A little sand on the face never hurt anyone!

Trying to get Eli interested in the swings...and praying that it holds me.

He loves to slide!

Chasing the ducks and yelling, "ack! ack!" He can't seem to get the 'qu' sound.

Happy Birthday Uncle George!

I can't believe my big brother is 30 today! Eli wishes his uncle George a happy birthday. I'm thinking it's the 17th already in Seoul, South Korea...but it is still January 16th here.
I hope you had fun on your birthday! How exciting that you get to spend it in another country! I was going through some photo discs trying to find a picture of you and Eli but the computer was having trouble reading some of my discs from 2007. You'll have to come see us so we can take more pictures. Although I think a trip to FL may be in the works for us soon! Call us as soon as you are back in the U.S.!
We all miss you and love you!
Happy 30th Birthday!
Tell Alice hello!

Love,
Liza

and Eli

Fun at Logos Last Night

Eli painted his rock blue last week. He even picked out the color himself!
Harley covering her rock in glue. She is also learning to participate in Logos. She's 3 months younger than Eli.
I'm not sure what the rocks are going to be...
Music Time...He's watching the teacher
Play Time

Our midweek children's program on Wednesday nights is called Logos. Eli started in the 2's and 3's class in the Fall. It has been interesting to see how he has progressed so far this school year! He's gotten a little better at paying attention and staying focused. I still try to keep him strapped in his stroller for the learning portions of it though, otherwise he is all over the place and I have to chase him while trying not to make too much of a distraction. He still has a way to go but I think it's good for him and we both enjoy it a lot overall!
